Settings Guide

Navigate to Settings via the gear icon in the sidebar.

General Settings (Display Preferences)

Dashboard Column Order:

• Show Tasks before Projects - Toggle to reorder columns on mobile

Sidebar Preferences:

• Show ‘Done’ Projects - Display completed projects in sidebar
• Show ‘Backburner’ Projects - Display backburner projects in sidebar

Done Steps View (in Trail Maps):

• Expandable Section at Bottom
• Separate Column on Right
• Popup Button

Upcoming Steps Preview:

• Show Inline - Always visible
• Show in Tooltip on Hover - Desktop only

On Startup:

• Open to Dashboard
• Return to Last Primary Page
• Return to Last Page

Trail Maps Settings

Done Steps View: Same as General settings

Upcoming Steps Preview: Same as General settings

Step Deletions:

• Show confirmation dialog when deleting a trail map step

Appearance Settings

Base Theme:

• Light
• Dark (OLED)
• OLED Black
• Parchment
• Gray

Accent Color:

• Indigo, Slate, Rose, Emerald, Sky, Amber, Violet, Yellow, Teal, Pink

Data Management Settings

Data & Sync Mode:

• Local Only - Data stored in browser
• Remote & Real-Time Sync - Cloud sync across devices

Local File Management:

• Export Data to File - Download JSON backup
• Import from File - Restore from JSON

Manual Encrypted Backups (Remote mode):

• Create encrypted point-in-time backups
• View and restore from previous backups
• Delete old backups

Migration:

• Migrate local data to server for real-time sync

Danger Zone

Clear Data:

• Remote mode: Reset Account Data - Deletes all server data
• Local mode: Clear All Local Data - Clears browser storage
